The Libretto W100 is a tiny laptop unlike any other. In place of its keyboard and trackpad, there’s a second 17.8cm (7”) screen, and like the main display it’s touch-sensitive. Read on, and we’ll explain why Toshiba has crammed two screens into our latest slice of innovation.

More space, for more apps!
The Libretto W100 runs Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, so it’s able to run any app your desktop PC can, and rival larger laptops for software support. Both 17.8cm (7”) screens are able to house apps too, so you could have Word open on one screen, while also surfing the web on the second screen.

Custom keyboards
The Libretto W100 doesn’t have a hardware keyboard, instead using its second screen to show a software keyboard, which can be changed to suit your needs. There are several keyboard layouts available, as well as shortcut screens using Toshiba LifeSpace software. Whatever you’re using it for, the Libretto W100 is a very flexible laptop!

Choose your orientation
Traditional laptops can only be held one way. The Libretto W100 is much more flexible, with a built in accellerometer to detect which way you’re holding it. Grasp it like a book, and it’ll rotate its screens. Hold it like a laptop, and it’ll act like one.

Organise yourself
Toshiba’s included its LifeSpace, ReelTime and Bulletin Board software in the Libretto W100. It’s all designed to help you organise your time, whether by providing shortcuts to recently used apps or files, or simply make notes or shortcuts by dragging items to a virtual corkboard. With the Libretto W100’s dual touchscreens, it’s a natural experience and unlike any other laptop.

Flexible connections
Whatever you use the Toshiba Libretto W100 for, you won’t be short of storage. There’s a speedy 62GB solid state drive inside, as well as a microSD card reader to quickly and easily add more storage. On top of that, there’s a USB socket, ultra-quick N-standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Libretto W100 even squeezes in a HD webcam for video chats, making it ultra-flexible for life on the road.
